Membership
You
are welcome to become a Member of Westside Quilters!
- WQ
offers one category of membership, Active Membership. Your membership
entitles you to participate in all activities of the guild, vote,
hold office, pay workshop fees at the guild rate, subscription
to the WQ newsletter.
- Annual dues (June 1 - May 31) are $50.00. Memberships applied for after December 1st during the year are charged $30.00.
- Membership
is open to all those interested in promoting cooperation and exchange
of ideas among quilters, gaining new knowledge and appreciation
for quilting in all its dimensions, and all who have willingness
to serve the community though philanthropic endeavors.
- Westside
Quilters is a service guild. Each year every member is expected
to serve on a committee or spend a few hours of general service.

Philanthropy
is a key component although our new guild expects projects to
be generated by our members or minigroups. We want to acknowledge
that members work with organizations other than the Westside Quilters
and give them credit for it. We will report on the philanthropic
work of our members to stimulate the philanthropic creativity
of others, and bring special projects to the attention of our
members.
